UNC Charlotte has notary options for its community
UNC Charlotte maintains notary resources for eligible students, faculty, and staff. The university says some campus notaries provide service at no cost, and availability can depend on the office or appointment process.

Need a public walk-in option?
Charlotte Notary provides public in-store notary service at 3020-I Prosperity Church Rd, Charlotte, NC 28269. The location is in Mallard Crossing near Mallard Creek and Prosperity Church Road and is convenient to University City.
- Open to the general public
- Walk-ins are welcome
- Notary service is offered seven days a week
- $10 per notarized principal signature
- $5 per witness signature when an eligible witness is available
- Printing, copying, faxing, and shipping are available at the same location
Which option should you use?
If you are an eligible UNC Charlotte student, faculty member, or staff member and can use a campus notary at no cost, the university option may make sense. If you need a public storefront, weekend hours, or document services at the same stop, our Prosperity Church Road location is another nearby option.
