Weekend availability is useful when a document arrives late Friday, a signer is only free on Saturday, or you simply need a public storefront that is open on Sunday.

A quick call can prevent a wasted trip
Notary service is offered seven days a week, but staffing can change and the commissioned notary still has to review the signer, identification, document, certificate, and requested act. Calling first is especially useful for weekend visits, several documents, multiple signers, or witness needs.
