Prepare your paperwork in one location
Print, notarize, and ship documents in Charlotte
Need to print a document, have an eligible signature notarized, and send the finished paperwork? Plan those steps at our Prosperity Church Road storefront, with copying, faxing, and shipping available at the same location.
Plan the order before you visit
From a complete document to a finished packet
- 1
Confirm the recipient’s instructions
Check which form, pages, signatures, witnesses, and delivery method the receiving office requires. Ask the recipient or your attorney to resolve missing notarial instructions. The notary cannot choose a legal form or notarial act for you.
- 2
Print the complete document before signing
If you need printing, call to ask how to provide your file at the store. Include every required page and any instructions about paper size, single-sided printing, or copies. Leave the signature requiring notarization unsigned until the notary tells you how to proceed. If it is already signed, explain that when you call.
- 3
Have the signer and document reviewed
Bring everyone required to appear for the requested notarial act, with qualifying identification. The commissioned notary reviews the document, certificate, requested act, and signer before determining whether notarization can proceed. Confirm witness availability separately if your document requires witnesses.
- 4
Copy, fax, or ship as instructed
After any eligible notarization is complete, arrange the copies or delivery you need. Confirm whether the recipient accepts a fax or needs an original by mail. Bring the correct address or fax number, any required cover sheet, and the recipient’s shipping instructions. Ask staff about available delivery options and costs.
What to bring for a combined visit
- The complete document or a file ready for printing, plus the recipient’s current checklist
- Qualifying current government-issued photo ID for each signer; call first about an unusual ID situation
- Required witnesses, or advance confirmation that eligible store witnesses are available
- Delivery details and instructions identifying which originals and copies must be returned
Ordinary photocopies are available. A North Carolina notary cannot certify a true copy of a document. If your checklist requests a certified copy, ask the receiving organization what it accepts before visiting. Read the copy-certification guide →
Separate services, clear costs
Our in-store notary fee is $10 per notarized principal signature. Eligible store witness service, when available, is $5 per witness signature. Printing, copying, faxing, and shipping cost extra; ask for those charges before work begins. Delivery options depend on the destination and service selected.
